Mobile Learning

Hi, again!

Mobile learning, also known as m-learning, is an educational system. Mobile learning supports, with the help of mobile devices, a continuous access to the learning process. This can be on appliances like your phone, laptop or tablet.

Within the classroom, mobile learning gives instructors and learners increased flexibility and new opportunities for interaction.

Today I will introduce you an app. Actually, I don’t know is it suitable for the topic of this assignment but when we become teachers we can’t know what is waiting us. We always talk about the apps that can be used both students and teachers but today, I will do something different.

I will talk about Plickers!

Plickers lets you poll your class for free, without the need for student devices. Just give each student a card (a “paper clicker”), and use your phone to scan them to do instant checks-for-understanding, exit tickets, and impromptu polls. Best of all, your data is automatically saved, student-by-student, at plickers.com. It is available for both google play store and app store. Plickers is free to use.

You can create your questions at website, you can see your classes, your students’ results. Very simple to use for students. They just need to rotate a card to show their answer. Very simple for teachers to use the app, to scan, and to project answers.

You can create a test about the story that your students read already. It can be enjoyable for your students, they can be more motivated for the quiz.

Your students can prepare a quiz too for their friends.

I hope you try this app!
